Adani Green Energy saw a 37% increase in energy sales in the first nine months of fiscal year 2026, driven by significant capacity additions and operational performance improvements. The company’s operational capacity surged by 48% year-on-year to 17.2 GW, solidifying its position in the energy transition sector. Additionally, in 2025, Adani Green Energy added 5.6 GW of greenfield capacity, accounting for nearly 14% of the total solar and wind capacity added nationwide.
Revenue growth for Adani Green Energy rose by 25% year-on-year to Rs 8,508 crore, while EBITDA increased by 24% to Rs 7,921 crore. CEO Ashish Khanna highlighted the company’s remarkable growth in 2026, with the addition of 5.6 GW of renewable energy capacity, representing a significant portion of India’s new solar and wind capacity. Adani Green Energy’s operational capacity now stands at 17.2 GW, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of green energy in the country.
During the first nine months of the fiscal year, Adani Green Energy generated over 27 billion units of clean electricity, equivalent to powering a nation the size of Azerbaijan for a year. The company’s commitment to sustainability and value creation for stakeholders was recognized with the title of World’s No. 1 Green Utility in the Energy Intelligence annual rankings. Adani Green Energy is making progress on its 30 GW renewable energy plant in Khavda, Gujarat, which will be a global benchmark for ultra large-scale renewable energy projects.
