Adani Group’s Chairman, Gautam Adani, highlighted the group’s focus on green energy and data centers for India’s digital and clean future. In Gujarat’s Khavda, the group has initiated a 30-gigawatt renewable energy plant, a significant step in reshaping India’s energy landscape. Adani emphasized their $100 billion commitment to clean energy, positioning them as major global investors in this sector.
The Adani Group is also venturing into data centers across India, with plans for large-scale integrated campuses. Collaborating with Google, they are developing a gigawatt-scale campus in Visakhapatnam, representing a substantial investment for secure data processing within the country. Partnerships with Microsoft, Flipkart, and Uber further solidify their presence in the data center domain.
Gautam Adani stressed the importance of India’s self-reliance in data infrastructure, announcing a $100 billion commitment to bolster the country’s data center capabilities. He emphasized the need for India to lead in creating and owning its digital infrastructure. Adani highlighted the role of various professionals in building the intelligence age, underlining the significance of physical infrastructure in the digital realm.
Through the Adani Foundation, the group has dedicated Rs 60,000 crore to education, healthcare, skilling, and community development, with a growing focus on AI-integrated training. Adani’s vision extends to empowering Indians through AI, emphasizing the importance of skill development. He urged for proactive construction of the future, emphasizing the need to build and shape the future rather than passively waiting for it.
