The Adani Mangal Seva initiative celebrated its first anniversary, providing dignity and opportunities to 500 divyang (persons with disabilities) women. Launched a year ago by Diva and Jeet Adani, the initiative, supported by the Adani Foundation, offers financial security to divyang women aged 25 to 40. Each beneficiary receives a Rs 10 lakh fixed deposit, ensuring monthly income and long-term financial stability.
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani expressed gratitude for the initiative’s impact, emphasizing the importance of extending personal happiness to benefit society. The Adani Mangal Seva program, in collaboration with the State Bank of India, guarantees a monthly income and access to the principal amount after a decade. With an annual allocation of Rs 50 crore, the initiative aims to support 500 divyang women annually for at least five years.
