Adani Mundra Airport in Gujarat has initiated scheduled flight services linking Mumbai and Goa, aiming to boost economic growth in the Kutch region. This strategic partnership with Star Air is expected to enhance the region’s potential as a comprehensive logistics and business hub. The introduction of eight new air services from the advanced terminal will establish an express corridor, reducing travel time for various sectors including trade, commerce, logistics, and tourism, thereby stimulating economic activities around Mundra, India’s largest port.
The new flight routes by Star Air will also connect Mundra with cities like Hindon, Surat, Belagavi, Bengaluru, Kolhapur, and Nanded. The airport, inaugurated by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) Director Jeet Adani, is designed to synergize the port and aviation operations of the Adani Group, propelling trade, industry, and tourism in Kutch to new heights. Engineered for efficiency and growth, Mundra Airport features a 1,900-meter runway capable of accommodating various passenger and cargo aircraft, along with a modern terminal offering ample parking, multiple check-in counters, comfortable lounges, and a full-service food court, presenting abundant opportunities for the region.
This strategic air link is a significant step to boost the economic activities of Mundra, India’s largest private port, and the country’s largest operational multi-product Mundra SEZ, facilitating smoother integration of trade volumes with national and global supply chains. Leveraging its expertise in managing international airports, the Adani Group aims to enhance connectivity and operational efficiency in the region, aligning with its commitment to driving economic growth and development.
