India has seen a significant change under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, according to Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited. Adani highlighted not only the country’s economic growth but also a shift in its national perspective towards long-term thinking and institutional development. He emphasized that India now aims to lead globally and shape the future, moving beyond mere growth aspirations.
Speaking at an event in Rajkot, Karan Adani pointed out Gujarat as a prime example of this transformative vision. Gujarat has become a hub of industrial advancement and global connectivity, contributing significantly to India’s GDP and industrial output. The state, under PM Modi’s earlier leadership as Chief Minister, set the groundwork for ease of doing business, strong institutions, and a pro-enterprise environment.
Karan Adani praised India’s progress under PM Modi’s governance, noting the country’s resilience amidst global uncertainties. India’s economy is on a growth trajectory, expanding its manufacturing sector and aiming to reach a $5 trillion economy status, positioning itself as the world’s third-largest economy. He specifically highlighted the transformation of Gujarat’s Kutch region into a pivotal industrial and logistical center, symbolizing India’s overall development story.
