Bollywood star Aditi Rao Hydari, gearing up for the Cannes Film Festival, shared a sneak peek of her preparations at the French Riviera. She posted photos from her hotel room, showcasing moments of relaxation and outfit fittings before the prestigious event. Aditi captioned the images with “The calm before we Cannes.”
The Cannes Film Festival, spanning 11 days, will conclude on May 23 with French actress Eye Haidara hosting the opening and closing ceremonies. Notable personalities like Alia Bhatt, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Aditi will grace the festival with their presence.
Aditi’s recent film, “Gandhi Talks,” emphasizes restraint and emotion in conveying its message. Starring alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy, and Siddharth Jadhav, the black comedy delves into the clash between Gandhi’s image on currency notes and his principles, following a young man’s pursuit of wealth intersecting with a thief’s path.
Having appeared in “Hey! Sinamika,” a reinterpretation of the 2008 Argentine film “A Boyfriend for My Wife,” Aditi, married to actor Sidharth, debuted in acting with the Malayalam movie “Prajapathi” in 2006. Her notable performances in films like “Delhi-6,” “Yeh Saali Zindagi,” “Rockstar,” and “Murder 3” have garnered acclaim.
Aditi’s diverse portfolio includes works such as “Chekka Chivantha Vaanam,” “Sufiyum Sujatayum,” “Maha Samudram,” and appearances in Hindi anthologies and web series like “Ajeeb Daastaans,” “Jubilee,” “Padmaavat,” and “Heeramandi.”
