Afghan police, in their crackdown on illegal drugs, have uncovered narcotics and dismantled drug labs in Uruzgan and Farah provinces. A total of 21 kg of illegal drugs and 273 stimulant tablets were confiscated. Additionally, around 1,000 kg of materials used in heroin production were destroyed in the operations.
Five individuals involved in illicit activities were apprehended by the police. The Ministry for Interior Affairs emphasized the ongoing efforts to combat the drug trade in Afghanistan. The counter-narcotics police are committed to eradicating the drug menace from the country.
In a separate incident in Helmand province, authorities seized a significant amount of heroin and drug-processing materials. The operation is part of a broader strategy to disrupt drug trafficking networks. Moreover, security forces intercepted 55 kg of methamphetamine in Nimroz province.
