Taliban Deputy Spokesman confirmed the death of 36 civilians and injuries to 163 others in the airstrikes, emphasizing the destruction caused to residential houses.
“These attacks violate Afghanistan’s territorial integrity and international law,” stated the Afghan mission, emphasizing the protection of civilians as a top priority. The mission highlighted the prolonged suffering of Afghan people due to war and instability, urging the UN and international community to uphold Afghanistan’s sovereignty. Jan Egeland of the Norwegian Refugee Council expressed concern over civilian casualties, urging Pakistan and the Taliban to resolve disputes through dialogue.
