A case has been filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act against the accused at Naroda Police Station. This arrest is part of a broader crackdown on drug and alcohol smuggling activities in the state.
In a related incident, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch intercepted 406 kg of ganja worth around Rs 2.03 crore hidden in a vehicle transporting onion drums near Narol Circle. Two individuals from Maharashtra were arrested in connection with this seizure. The authorities suspect the narcotics were intended for distribution within Gujarat.
