AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami criticized the DMK government in Tamil Nadu for its handling of the recent arrest of eight individuals suspected of planning a terror attack in Tiruppur by the Delhi Police. Palaniswami expressed concern over the state’s law and order situation under the current regime led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
Palaniswami highlighted a perceived security lapse and accused the DMK government of failing to address rising incidents of crime effectively. He questioned the government’s response to extremist threats, particularly in light of recent arrests by national agencies like the NIA in Tamil Nadu.
The AIADMK leader warned of potential security risks if the current administration remains in power, drawing parallels to past incidents like the 1998 Coimbatore serial blasts. Palaniswami emphasized the need for a change in governance to ensure public safety and restore peace in the state.
