Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh expressed his optimism for an increase in the number of astronauts like Shubhanshu Shukla in the future. He commended Shukla, an IAF Group Captain, for sharing his 20-day space journey in a book aimed at inspiring young individuals. Singh envisioned a scenario where multiple individuals, similar to Shukla, would venture into space, overshadowing the uniqueness of Shukla’s experience.

At the book launch event of “The Second Orbit” penned by Shubhanshu Shukla, Air Chief Marshal Singh emphasized the importance of more individuals following Shukla’s footsteps. He acknowledged Shukla’s pioneering achievement while also encouraging others to aspire for similar opportunities in space exploration. Singh highlighted that Shukla was among four IAF officers trained for space missions, underscoring the significance of his selection for the space endeavor.

Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh urged young minds to embrace ambition and relish the journey of life, emphasizing the value of dedication and adaptability. Drawing inspiration from Shukla’s space voyage, Singh emphasized the essence of enjoying the process rather than solely focusing on the destination. He encouraged individuals to excel in their chosen paths, emphasizing the impact of their actions beyond mere accomplishments.
