National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met with Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, South Africa’s Minister in the Presidency, during the 16th BRICS NSAs’ Meeting in New Delhi. The discussion revolved around enhancing India-South Africa bilateral relations and exploring avenues for developmental cooperation between the two nations.
The meeting also involved an exchange of perspectives on current regional and global affairs. Earlier in the day, Doval also engaged in talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The discussions focused on recent progress in bilateral relations and the importance of fostering stable and constructive ties for mutual trust and understanding.
The BRICS National Security Advisors’ Meeting, chaired by India, is a two-day event convening top security officials from member countries to address global security challenges and enhance collaboration on critical strategic issues. The agenda includes discussions on non-traditional security challenges in the world today, emphasizing the evolving nature of security threats and the role of new technologies in addressing them.
