National Security Advisor Ajit Doval visited UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss enhancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, regional affairs, and mutual interests. This visit marks the second high-level interaction between India and the UAE, following External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s recent trip. During the meeting, EAM Jaishankar expressed gratitude to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for safeguarding the Indian community’s well-being during the West Asia conflict.
Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, was also present during the discussions. EAM Jaishankar conveyed warm regards from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and thanked Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his guidance in strengthening the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Additionally, EAM Jaishankar engaged with the Indian community in the UAE, emphasizing the government’s commitment to their security and welfare amidst the regional tensions.
EAM Jaishankar further met with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan to address the evolving situation in West Asia. He expressed confidence in the advancement of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and the UAE. The discussions focused on the regional implications of recent events, highlighting the importance of ensuring the well-being of the Indian community in the UAE during challenging times.
