Samajwadi Party President, Akhilesh Yadav, criticized Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Keshav Prasad Maurya, suggesting he should take charge as a “Delivery Chief Minister” amid the LPG situation. Yadav’s comment followed Maurya’s response to concerns raised by Yadav about the reported LPG crisis, where Maurya offered assistance in delivering cylinders to those in need.
Yadav emphasized the need for efficient distribution, stating that people in Uttar Pradesh are facing long queues for LPG cylinders throughout the month despite government assurances of availability. He urged Maurya to address the issue promptly by ensuring timely deliveries to those waiting.
In a separate development, Yadav also addressed allegations of police irregularities in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, raised by BJP MLC, Devendra Pratap Singh. He highlighted the prevalence of fake encounters in the state, calling for a thorough investigation to hold accountable those responsible for such actions.
