Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav criticized Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, stating that Adityanath’s role in the state’s Cabinet expansion is minimal. Yadav’s comments followed the induction of six new Ministers and the promotion of two Ministers of State in an effort to maintain a balance in caste, regional, and organizational representation. Yadav, on a social media platform, remarked that under the BJP government, the Chief Minister’s role has been reduced to that of a “Courier-Messenger.”
The SP President suggested that the ongoing Cabinet expansion in Uttar Pradesh is merely a time-pass activity. He further taunted CM Adityanath by questioning whether he would be watching the “film” from the front row or the back row. Yadav emphasized the public’s desire for Adityanath to pay close attention to governance, hinting at the potential for positive change through a deeper understanding of consequences and actions.
Yadav highlighted the importance of individuals transcending self-interest and engaging in selfless service for the betterment of society. He underscored the transformative power of virtues over vices, drawing from the essence of ancient epics. Additionally, Yadav emphasized the significance of inner reflection and the need for inner light to overcome mistakes and negativity, irrespective of external circumstances.
