Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav expressed grief over the sudden death of his step-brother, Prateek Yadav, describing him as health-conscious and fitness-oriented. Akhilesh Yadav visited the Civil Hospital in Lucknow, where Prateek Yadav’s body was taken for a post-mortem examination. Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Mulayam Singh Yadav and Sadhana Gupta, passed away in Lucknow at the age of 38.
The cause of Prateek Yadav’s death has not been officially confirmed yet, and a post-mortem is underway to determine the exact circumstances. Akhilesh Yadav shared that Prateek Yadav had always been focused on his health and fitness, expressing sadness over his untimely demise. Akhilesh Yadav mentioned that the legal formalities will be followed as per the law and the family’s wishes.

Prateek Yadav, who had been dealing with lung issues and undergoing treatment for a blood clot, was rushed to the hospital when his health deteriorated.
