Actress Akshara Singh has voiced her backing for Jyoti Singh, the wife of actor-politician Pawan Singh, in her pursuit of alimony. Singh, who was previously in a relationship with Pawan Singh, believes that Jyoti Singh’s requests are reasonable and emphasizes the importance of society aiding divorced women in securing alimony without limitations. She stressed the significance of women receiving their entitled alimony, regardless of the amount they seek, to support their financial independence.

Jyoti Singh, the estranged spouse of Bhojpuri artist Pawan Singh, has formally requested alimony and financial support amid their ongoing legal battle. In her plea, Jyoti Singh has argued for her right to maintenance under Indian matrimonial law, citing the income and social status gap between the couple. She has highlighted emotional distress, marital issues, and abandonment as reasons for seeking financial assistance, stating that her inability to maintain a lifestyle similar to her husband’s warrants support.

The legal proceedings have seen Pawan Singh contesting Jyoti Singh’s claims and presenting his own legal arguments. The court has reviewed financial disclosures, marriage records, and submissions from both parties during multiple hearings. The final decision on alimony, typical in such matrimonial disputes, will be based on a judicial evaluation of income, liabilities, and evidence provided. The case is ongoing, with the court yet to reach a definitive ruling on the alimony matter.
