He drew a parallel with his role in the movie Rustom, where he portrayed a naval officer. Akshay fondly recalled a powerful dialogue from the film, emphasizing the deep connection he felt with the character and the uniform.
Recalling his role in Rustom, a 2016 movie, Akshay reminisced about the impact of playing a naval officer on-screen. The film, which also featured Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta, earned Akshay a National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance.
