Secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Umrain Mahfooz Rahmani, strongly criticized the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in US-Israel airstrikes, labeling it as “completely unacceptable” and a grave threat to global peace.
Rahmani expressed deep concern over the aggressive actions of the United States and Israel, emphasizing the need for peace over conflict. He highlighted the significance of respecting boundaries for achieving true peace and condemned the arbitrary attacks on Iran by the US and Israel.
He mourned the loss of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stating that his sacrifice in the face of oppression serves as a message to never yield to tyranny. Rahmani underscored the impact of Khamenei’s martyrdom on not just the Shia community but also on people worldwide, denouncing the actions of Israel and the US.
The conflict between right and wrong was highlighted by Rahmani, who emphasized the ongoing struggle to protect individuals and nations from harm. He expressed concerns about potential threats that may arise when opportunities for causing damage are seized.
The killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei in US-Israel airstrikes led to Rahmani’s remarks, with reports indicating the deaths of four of his relatives, including his daughter, grandchild, and son-in-law. US President Donald Trump, in a statement on Truth Social, claimed responsibility for the strikes, describing them as a significant opportunity for Iranians to reclaim control of their country.
Trump characterized Khamenei as a malevolent figure in history and justified the strikes as a form of justice for the people of Iran and others who had suffered under his leadership. He credited advanced intelligence and collaboration with Israel for the success of the operation, asserting that Khamenei and the other leaders killed had no means to evade detection.
