Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the embezzlement of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, similar allegations have emerged regarding offerings at Shri Badrinath Dham. The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) has initiated a formal inquiry into the matter in response to these claims.
BKTC President Hemant Dwivedi has taken the allegations circulating on social media seriously and has formed an inquiry committee to investigate the claims transparently. Notices have been sent to the employees implicated in the allegations, requesting their explanations.
Dwivedi clarified that one of the employees accused of involvement is not his personal secretary but a regular government employee of the BKTC. He emphasized that the committee is treating the matter with utmost seriousness and will take strict action against any guilty employees following the investigation.
Addressing the concerns raised on social media, Dwivedi urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified rumors and misinformation. He emphasized the importance of waiting for the official inquiry’s results before drawing conclusions about the allegations surrounding the temple offerings.
