A day after Samarth Singh, the husband of late actress Twisha Sharma, was arrested, fresh allegations have arisen from her family. They claim that he received special treatment inside the Jabalpur district court premises before being taken into police custody. Samarth Singh, upon his arrest, was brought to Bhopal and taken to the Katara Hills Police Station, where he allegedly requested and was provided with a ‘Paneer Thali’ meal around 2 A.M.
Twisha Sharma’s family has expressed concerns about the treatment Samarth Singh received before his arrest. Anurag Srivastava, representing Twisha Sharma’s father, alleged that Samarth Singh was seated in Courtroom No. 32, the courtroom of the District and Sessions Judge, just before facing the media. Srivastava questioned the circumstances that allowed Samarth inside the courtroom after hours, suggesting favoritism.
The family of Twisha Sharma has consistently claimed that Samarth Singh and his mother, retired judge Giribala Singh, used their influence to delay legal proceedings. Despite a lookout notice and a reward for his arrest, allegations suggest Samarth moved freely and was not treated as a wanted accused. Samarth Singh, whose legal license has been suspended, is currently in custody in Bhopal and is expected to appear in court regarding the dowry death case of Twisha Sharma.
