Amanda Seyfried Shares Plans for ‘Mamma Mia’ Character

Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried has discussed her character in ‘Mamma Mia’. She believes that motherhood suits her character. Seyfried, who attended the Los Angeles premiere of ‘The Testament of Ann Lee’, shared her thoughts on what Sophie’s life could be like in a potential ‘Mamma Mia 3’. She expressed her love for playing a mother and her interest in exploring motherhood and child-rearing on a Greek island, similar to Donna in the movie. Meryl Streep portrayed Sophie’s mother in the 2008 film. Seyfried also mentioned the possibility of Sophie becoming a mother in the storyline. She expressed enthusiasm for the film, stating her willingness to advocate for it. According to producer Judy Craymer, a script for ‘Mamma Mia 3’ has been finalized, following the success of the 2018 prequel-sequel ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’. Craymer confirmed that the movie is in development and assured that it will come to fruition. Seyfried, who has two children with husband Thomas Sadoski, is experienced in motherhood. The couple, who got engaged in 2016 and married in a private ceremony in 2017, resides on a farm with their kids.
