Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President Nitin Nabin congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister. Amit Shah praised Modi’s efforts in restoring India’s pride and elevating the country’s global stature. Shah highlighted achievements like new laws, the new Parliament, and the education policy promoting mother tongue education.
Shah also emphasized achievements in securing borders, abrogating Article 370, building the Ram Temple, eradicating Maoism, and countering terrorism effectively. He commended Modi for instilling national pride and self-respect. Nitin Nabin lauded Modi’s dedication, calling his tenure a golden chapter in India’s democratic history.
Nabin highlighted transformations under Modi’s leadership, including financial inclusion, the digital revolution, and the ‘One Nation, One Tax’ system. He praised initiatives in defence self-reliance, manufacturing promotion, and infrastructure development. Nabin also mentioned milestones like the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple construction and Article 370 abrogation.
PM Modi surpassed Jawaharlal Nehru’s record with 4,399 days in office as an elected Prime Minister. Nehru’s tenure from 1952 onwards was compared, making Modi the longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister in India’s history. Modi has been in office since 2014, securing mandates in 2019 and a historic third term in 2024.
