Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah commended Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for his farmer-friendly initiatives. Shah announced significant projects for the state, including a milk chilling center in Bhiwani district, a flour mill in Rewari district, and the IYC portal. At a cooperative conference, Shah distributed RuPay Platinum debit cards and registration certificates to beneficiaries and M-PACS presidents, respectively. He also unveiled an annual publication and a corporate film by KRIBHCO.
Home Minister Shah lauded CM Saini’s leadership and policies, hailing him as a transformative figure in governance. He praised the Chief Minister for empowering farmers and establishing Haryana as a model of transparent and efficient administration. Shah highlighted Saini’s courage in implementing bold initiatives that few governments attempt, such as ensuring MSP procurement for 24 crops.
Emphasizing Haryana’s agricultural achievements, Shah noted the state’s prompt payment to farmers within 48 hours of crop procurement. He applauded Saini for securing the highest sugarcane prices in the country, setting a positive precedent for other governments. Shah also mentioned Haryana’s water management efforts, including subsidies for irrigation and the construction of Amrit Sarovars under the “Per Drop — More Crop” scheme.
The Home Minister underscored Haryana’s contributions to agriculture, dairy production, sports, and national security, despite being a smaller state. He stated that a government’s success should be measured by the welfare of its farmers, highlighting the importance of their well-being. Shah expressed confidence in the Chief Minister’s commitment to enhancing Haryana’s position among the leading states in the country.
