On May 26, a high-level meeting will be chaired by the Home Minister to review border security, anti-infiltration measures, and development projects in the border region. The focus of the meeting will be on strengthening security arrangements, enhancing coordination among agencies, and expanding infrastructure in border areas.
During his visit, Shah will also go to the Sanchu border outpost to interact with Border Security Force (BSF) personnel. This visit is deemed strategically significant, with discussions aimed at evaluating border management and development-related issues.
The Home Minister is expected to review current security arrangements, anti-infiltration measures, and coordination mechanisms among agencies operating along the border. Discussions will likely encompass development matters concerning border districts and local interests. Extensive security measures have been put in place by the administration and police in anticipation of the visit.
