Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Bairagi Camp in Haridwar on Saturday to assess exhibitions showcasing Uttarakhand’s development projects and public welfare initiatives. The event will be graced by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, state ministers, Members of Parliament, MLAs, public representatives, and senior officials.
An official release states that during his visit, the Union Minister will explore a special exhibition at Bairagi Camp, highlighting significant development schemes, public welfare programs, and major policy decisions implemented in the state over the past four years under Chief Minister Dhami’s leadership.
The exhibition aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the state government’s initiatives in various sectors, including infrastructure development, social welfare programs, and governance reforms. Different state government departments have set up stalls with visual materials like photographs, models, and informational panels to showcase the transformation witnessed in Uttarakhand in recent years.
Officials mentioned that the exhibition will emphasize the government’s endeavors to enhance good governance, transparency, and citizen-centric service delivery in the state. Through the displays and presentations, visitors will gain insights into Uttarakhand’s development journey and the measures taken to enhance public services.
In addition to the development exhibition, a state-level exhibition titled “Nyaya Sanhita” will also be held at Bairagi Camp from March 7 to March 9, 2026. This program aims to raise public awareness about the implementation and provisions of new legal codes introduced by the Government of India.
