Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Amit Shah, is scheduled to visit Gujarat for a two-day trip starting Saturday. He will be participating in various official programs in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. The visit will involve reviewing key development projects, engaging with newly elected civic representatives, and inaugurating a new milk processing plant to boost the dairy sector in the area.
During his visit, Amit Shah will meet with the newly elected corporators of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and conduct review meetings with senior municipal officials to assess the progress of ongoing development works in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Additionally, he will chair a high-level review meeting at the AMC South West Zone office in Ahmedabad.
The high-level review meeting is set to focus on development projects under the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency, including discussions on urban infrastructure development, pond interlinking projects, and preparations for the ‘Mission 5 Million Trees’ campaign for the upcoming monsoon season. The meeting will be attended by senior civic officials, the Municipal Commissioner, and other top administrative officers.
Amit Shah’s visit aims to monitor development activities and expedite civic projects in the region. The visit will also include briefings to the Union Minister on the status of various public welfare and environmental initiatives. On the second day of his visit, Amit Shah will inaugurate a newly constructed milk processing plant of Madhur Dairy in Gandhinagar district.
The inauguration of the dairy plant, located near Dashela village in Gandhinagar district, is expected to enhance dairy processing capacity in the region and benefit local milk producers associated with the cooperative network. The program is scheduled to commence at 1:00 P.M., followed by an inspection of the modern milk processing facility and an address to the public at the venue.
