In his latest appearance in the film “Vettaiyan,” directed by T. J. Gnanavel, Amitabh Bachchan starred alongside a talented ensemble cast including Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, and others. The storyline revolves around a senior police officer caught in a moral dilemma after a tragic encounter killing.
Currently engaged in filming the sequel to “Kalki 2898 AD,” a 2024 epic mythological science fiction project by Nag Ashwin, Bachchan expressed gratitude for the project and the support received from his fans. The film, featuring stars like Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone, draws inspiration from Hindu scriptures and sets the stage for the Kalki Cinematic Universe.
Set in a futuristic world in the year 2898 AD, “Kalki 2898 AD” follows a group’s quest to safeguard a lab subject’s unborn child, believed to be the prophesied Kalki, the ultimate incarnation of Vishnu.
