Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced plans to support one crore entrepreneurs through the ‘one family-one entrepreneur’ initiative. Emphasizing the significance of the MSME sector, the government has already allocated incentives totaling Rs 558 crore and inaugurated 38 MSME parks. Naidu highlighted the pivotal role of youth in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship for the state’s development.
The Chief Minister underscored the importance of empowering youth and women, stating that the MSME sector serves as a platform to realize their innovative ideas. He noted that MSMEs are a significant source of employment, second only to agriculture in the country. Naidu outlined the government’s initiatives to facilitate resources for MSMEs, including dedicated policies for industrial parks, aiming to accelerate industrial growth.
Addressing the ‘one family-one entrepreneur’ MSME Growth Summit 2026, Naidu stressed the need for large-scale industrial units to drive economic progress. He also mentioned extending incentives to private industrial parks, citing the success of Sri City as a model. The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s efforts to promote startups through the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub and set a target of creating 100 unicorns in Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu advocated for a shift towards a knowledge economy, urging youth and industries to embrace emerging opportunities. He reiterated the government’s commitment to promoting a circular economy, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices. The Chief Minister also mentioned the support provided by banks and various central schemes to bolster entrepreneurship in the state, including loans worth over Rs 2.11 lakh crore to MSMEs.
