He highlighted the need to enhance greenery at Andhra University and transform it into a model for sustainability. The Chief Minister directed efforts to make the campus a ‘Net Zero’ facility.
Expressing concerns about rising temperatures and ecological imbalances, Naidu called for solar energy generation at the 450-acre AU campus. He stressed the importance of planting trees, installing solar panels, and managing waste effectively. Naidu proposed turning the campus into a biodiversity park and implementing waste-to-energy solutions.
