Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced the initiation of the P-4 program aimed at diminishing economic disparities by supporting the underprivileged in achieving financial growth. Emphasizing the importance of addressing economic inequalities, he reiterated the government’s dedication to uplifting the impoverished and ensuring equal opportunities for all to foster a prosperous and healthy society.
Speaking at a press conference in his hometown Naravaripalle in Tirupati district following Sankranti festivities with his family, the Chief Minister highlighted the significance of preserving culture and traditions through communal celebrations. He expressed that such festive gatherings bring immense joy to everyone involved.
Extending warm Sankranti and Kanuma wishes to all, Naidu outlined plans to transform Tirupati into a premier wedding destination by enhancing the city’s temple tanks and promoting homestays. Additionally, he disclosed intentions to develop Visakhapatnam and Amaravati into major urban centers, with a commitment to completing land surveys by 2027 and issuing pattadar pass books embedded with government seals and QR codes.
The Chief Minister also unveiled the statewide expansion of the successful Sanjeevani health program, initially piloted in Kuppam, focusing on maintaining health records of vulnerable populations, students, and the general public. Furthermore, he highlighted initiatives like the Swarna Naravaripalle project for regional development and efforts to enhance living standards through infrastructure enhancements and housing programs.
In a bid to promote sustainable practices, Naidu underscored the government’s emphasis on solar power generation, solar pumpsets under the Kusum scheme, and the promotion of natural farming with geo-tagging, certification, and marketing support in Tirupati. Prioritizing skill development, the government plans to establish workstations for youth to engage in remote work opportunities within their communities, alongside a renewed focus on educational advancement.
