Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has been discharged from a Mumbai hospital following a successful surgery on his right shoulder. He is expected to rest at his residence in Hyderabad. Physiotherapy is scheduled to commence after three weeks based on medical advice.
Pawan Kalyan underwent the shoulder surgery at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on July 11. Doctors have recommended starting physiotherapy after three weeks, with a projected recovery period of four months for his operated shoulder to regain normal function. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Pawan Kalyan in the hospital on July 12 to convey his well wishes for a speedy recovery.
The hospital’s health bulletin revealed that Pawan Kalyan was diagnosed with a right shoulder rotator cuff injury, involving significant tendon tears and a bone fracture. The surgery, conducted by Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, Director of Arthroscopy & Shoulder Service, was successful, and Pawan Kalyan is currently in a comfortable and recovering state. Following a rest period, he will undergo a structured shoulder rehabilitation program for an expected full recovery within the next four months.
