Hollywood actor Andrew Garfield confessed to engaging in doomscrolling like everyone else. During the London premiere of his latest movie, ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’, the 42-year-old actor revealed his social media habits to the Associated Press on March 22. Garfield acknowledged succumbing to the addictive nature of social media, emphasizing his human vulnerability to it.
The actor disclosed that despite not having an official social media presence, he maintains undisclosed “creeper accounts” for browsing. While discussing his secret online activity, Garfield admitted to the need for strict self-discipline in managing these accounts. This revelation isn’t new, as his co-star Florence Pugh previously inadvertently exposed his hidden social media usage during a Vanity Fair segment.
Pugh, 30, mentioned Garfield’s occasional tweeting on platforms he prefers, to which he clarified that he has never tweeted. The actress realized her mistake in revealing his secret browsing habits, leading to a humorous exchange between the two. Garfield’s discreet online behavior contrasts with his public persona, illustrating a common struggle with social media addiction.
