Anger is rising among Hindu spiritual leaders due to comments made by Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, referring to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as ‘Humayun’s son Akbar’. Jagatguru Paramhans Acharya strongly criticized the statement, deeming it highly objectionable and irresponsible. He demanded a public apology from Swami Avimukteshwaranand.

Paramhans Acharya emphasized that comparing CM Yogi Adityanath to Mughal rulers has deeply offended followers of Sanatan Dharam. He stressed that Yogi Adityanath, as both the Chief Minister and Peethadheeshwar of the Gorakhnath Peeth, deserves respect and that the language used against him is unacceptable.

Praising CM Yogi, Paramhans Acharya described him as the “Sun of Sanatan Dharam” who has diligently worked to elevate Uttar Pradesh. While acknowledging differences in public life, he condemned the use of derogatory language. Paramhans Acharya also questioned the motives behind Swami Avimukteshwaranand’s cow protection movement, suggesting it is politically driven.
