Veteran actor Anil Kapoor marked the two-year anniversary of the release of the aerial action drama “Fighter” where he portrayed Group Captain Rakesh “Rocky” Jaisingh. Sharing pictures from the film on his official Instagram, Kapoor expressed gratitude for the lasting memories the project has given him. The movie, inspired by a story by Siddharth Anand and Ramon Chibb, features Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles, supported by a talented cast including Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.
Anil Kapoor’s next project, “Subedaar,” directed by Suresh Triveni, explores the life of Arjun Singh, a former soldier navigating civilian challenges while repairing his relationship with his daughter Shyama, played by Radhikka Madan. Additionally, Kapoor will play a significant role in Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film “Alpha,” part of the YRF spy universe, directed by Shiv Rawail and featuring Sharvari Wagh.
“Fighter,” produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, is the first installment of an aerial action franchise. The movie, with cinematography by Satchith Paulose and editing by Aarif Sheikha, features music by the composer duo Vishal–Shekhar.
