Actor Anup Soni was reminded of his short film “Chintu” after a viral video of a baby monkey hugging its soft toy surfaced online.

The video showing a baby monkey tightly embracing a soft toy after being abandoned by its mother evoked strong emotions online. Anup Soni shared a photo on Instagram with a similar toy monkey, mentioning how the viral clip resonated with him.

In his Instagram post, Anup Soni revealed that the viral video brought back memories of his short film “Chintu,” directed by Anubhav Anand, where he portrayed a man revisiting his childhood home and finding his old monkey soft toy.

Anup Soni, known for his roles in TV serials like Sea Hawks and Saaya, ventured into cinema with films like “Kharaashein: Scars From Riots” and “Hathyar.” Despite his film work, he also made appearances in TV shows like CID: Special Bureau and Crime Patrol. Recently, he was part of the series “Saare Jahan Se Accha” and made a cameo in the film “The Great Shamsuddin Family.”
