Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently visited Varanasi, where he sought blessings at the Sankat Mochan Temple and the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Sharing his experience on Instagram, Kher mentioned the peaceful atmosphere and his heartfelt prayers for everyone present. He expressed his reverence with the words “Har Har Mahadev! Jai Bajrang Bali! Jai Siya Ram!”
Anupam Kher, known for his diverse roles, is currently working on a new project with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya. His latest release, “Tanvi The Great,” narrates the story of a young woman on the autism spectrum, determined to fulfill her late father’s dream of serving in the army.
The Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, founded by Tulsidas in the 16th century, is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Situated on the banks of the Assi river, it symbolizes the “reliever from troubles.” On the other hand, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines, is a significant Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva.
