Anvita Khammam Aces clinched a spot in the top four of the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s TG20 Season 1 with a convincing 19-run victory over Medak Falcons. Himateja Kodimela shone by scoring an unbeaten 103 off 57 balls, propelling Aces to a total of 190/5.
In response, Medak Falcons were restricted to 171/7 with Vidyananda Reddy, Wafi Kachchhi, and Harshith Sai taking two wickets each. Despite Shrunjith Reddy’s fifty, Falcons fell short.
Aces faced an early setback losing G Sai Krishna Reddy for a duck, but Himateja and Wafi Kachchhi steadied the innings. Mickil Jaiswal and Himateja then built a crucial partnership to maintain the scoring rate.
Himateja’s aggressive half-century and a solid stand with Prateek Reddy propelled Aces forward. Himateja’s century, featuring eleven fours and four sixes, guided Aces to a formidable total of 190/5.
