US tech giant Apple introduced its sixth store in India, Apple Borivali, the second in Mumbai. The store showcases a unique peacock-inspired design, reflecting Apple’s creativity and attention to detail. Apple Borivali is set to open to the public on February 26 at 1 pm.
The new store aims to cater to a growing community of startups and businesses, providing a space for customers to explore Apple products, unleash creativity, and receive expert assistance from Apple’s team members. Customers visiting Apple Borivali can discover and purchase the latest Apple products, engage with new features, and seek support from Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses, and dedicated Business teams.
Apple also announced that customers can participate in free daily in-store experiences called Today at Apple sessions, led by Apple Creatives, to enhance their learning, creativity, and device usage. Apple CEO Tim Cook highlighted the company’s strong performance in India, achieving a quarterly revenue record during the October-December period.
In 2025, Apple witnessed significant growth in India, with iPhone shipments increasing by 24% year-on-year compared to the previous year. The iPhone 16 series emerged as the top-performing smartphone lineup, constituting 57% of total iPhone shipments for the year.
