Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman recently met former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni at the ‘ROAR 2026’ pre-season event. The event, organized by the five-time IPL champions for their fans, took place at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Rahman shared a video clip of the meeting with Dhoni, including a virtual call with someone and a moment with Dhoni’s daughter Ziva.
Rahman, known for his collaboration with director Mani Ratnam, is set to compose music for Ratnam’s upcoming film starring actor Vijay Sethupathi. Having a longstanding association with Ratnam since the 1992 blockbuster ‘Roja,’ Rahman’s musical prowess continues to captivate audiences. The shooting for Ratnam’s new project, featuring Sethupathi, is anticipated to commence this summer, possibly in July.
