The wedding celebrations for actor Arjun Kapoor’s sister, Anshula Kapoor, have commenced with great enthusiasm. Anshula recently participated in the Chooda ceremony, a significant pre-wedding ritual in Punjabi culture that signifies the bride’s journey into married life. During this tradition, the bride-to-be attempts to drop Kaliras, which are attached to the chooda, on all the unmarried family members, with the belief that whoever the Kalira falls on will soon get married.
Anshula shared pictures on her Instagram showcasing the moment when the Kalira fell on Arjun and Shanaya Kapoor. In one of the photos, both of them can be seen proudly displaying the Kalira. The images captured the playful atmosphere as Anshula tried to place the Kalira on various single Kapoors, including Arjun, Shanaya, Khushi, and Orry.
Expressing her emotions on social media, Anshula wrote, “Chooda. Kalire. Blessings. ❤️ The moment it all started to feel real. Each kalira has a blessing embossed onto it – words like love, joy, and magic.” She further elaborated on the tradition, highlighting the significance of passing on blessings when a Kalira falls on someone, emphasizing the importance of sharing and spreading love.
Anshula also took to social media to express gratitude towards her sisters, Janhvi and Khushi, for organizing a memorable Mehendi ceremony. She thanked them for creating a vibrant and loving atmosphere, reflecting the care and thoughtfulness they put into making the event special. Anshula cherished the opportunity to be fully present and feel celebrated, knowing that her sisters had taken care of every detail to make the occasion unforgettable.
