Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi issued a strong warning to Pakistan, emphasizing that the country must decide its stance on terrorism. The warning was delivered during an interaction at Sena Samvad 2026, a significant military-citizen dialogue seminar. When asked about a potential continuation of Operation Sindoor, General Dwivedi highlighted the consequences of Pakistan’s support for terrorists, urging them to choose between peace and hostility.

Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, the former Director General of Military Operations during Operation Sindoor, revealed that Pakistan was compelled to negotiate with India and cease strikes. He described the military operation as a crucial moment in India’s strategic journey. Additionally, Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti, the former Director General of Air Operations, disclosed that Indian forces had successfully targeted Pakistani aircraft and airfields during the operation.

During the same event, Army Chief Dwivedi emphasized the integration of work and life within the military. Reflecting on his personal journey, he highlighted the discipline and purpose instilled by the military uniform. Dwivedi stressed the evolution from work-life balance to work-life fusion, underscoring the passion it ignited in him.
