Premier League leaders Arsenal faced a tough challenge but managed to secure a spot in the FA Cup quarterfinals by defeating Mansfield Town 2-1 in a closely contested match. Mansfield initially held strong, with Noni Madueke scoring first, but Will Evans equalized for Mansfield before Eberechi Eze’s late goal sealed Arsenal’s victory.

Manchester City also advanced to the quarterfinals after a 3-1 comeback win against Newcastle United, with Omar Marmoush scoring twice to secure the win. Meanwhile, Chelsea was taken to extra time by Wrexham but eventually triumphed 4-2 after a hard-fought battle.

Liverpool secured their place in the quarterfinals with a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers, avenging a recent league defeat.
