Arshdeep Kaur Wins Women’s 25m Pistol Event at National Selection Trials

Arshdeep Kaur clinched the top spot in the Women’s 25m Pistol event finals at the National Selection Trials in New Delhi. She outperformed Divya T.S with a score of 37-36 in the final round. Rahi Sarnobat secured the third position with 33 hits, following a close contest with Divya.

Former Asian Games champion Rahi Sarnobat finished third, with Rhythm Sangwan in fourth place. The top eight finalists also included Niveditha V. Nair, Manu Bhaker, Anjali Choudhary, and Chinki Yadav. Manu Bhaker had topped the qualifications with a combined score of 582-17x, followed by Rahi Sarnobat and Divya T.S.

The National Selection Trials will continue with the 50m Rifle 3 Positions and 10m Air Pistol events for both men and women. India’s top shooters are participating in these trials to secure spots in the national squad for upcoming international competitions. The trials for Group B athletes are also ongoing in Bhopal, with the national squad coaching camp scheduled to start in New Delhi soon.
