Left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh has been included in India’s playing eleven as they opt to bowl first against New Zealand in the fourth T20I at the ACA-VDCA Stadium. With a 3-0 lead in the series, India aims for a clean sweep over New Zealand. India skipper Suryakumar Yadav mentioned that Arshdeep replaces Ishan Kishan, who is nursing an injury.

Vice-captain Axar Patel is still recovering from a finger injury and may return in the next match in Thiruvananthapuram. Yadav expressed confidence in the team’s performance, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good habits and playing with fearless intent. He highlighted the need for batters to step up in Kishan’s absence and praised the bowling options available.

New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner announced that pacer Zak Foulkes will replace Kyle Jamieson in the playing eleven. He acknowledged the challenge posed by the Indian team and emphasized the need for improvement in their bowling performance. Santner highlighted the evolving nature of the game and the team’s focus on setting a strong total.
