Actress Arti Singh recently took to social media to reminisce about her connection with TV star Rupali Ganguly dating back to the 90s. Arti fondly recalled how Rupali, at just 16 years old, had worked in a film alongside Arti’s uncle, Bollywood superstar Govinda. Their bond has endured over the years, with Arti expressing joy at reuniting with Rupali after two decades.

Arti shared her emotions, stating, “Meeting her after ages… she was just 16 when she did a film with my mama do aankhen barah hath… I remember not leaving her side. She was just 16 years old.” She praised Rupali’s enduring beauty, energy, and down-to-earth nature, emphasizing that their recent meeting felt timeless.

Describing Rupali as unchanged in her warmth, humility, and positive energy, Arti commended the TV series “Anupamaa,” where Rupali plays the lead role. Rupali Ganguly has garnered acclaim for her portrayal in the show, which has consistently topped TRP charts during its five-year run.

Rupali Ganguly, daughter of the late director Anil Ganguly, has made a mark in the entertainment industry with iconic roles. Anil Ganguly, known for directing acclaimed films like “Kora Kagaz” and “Tapasya,” passed away in 2016.
