Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen K.T. Parnaik (Retd) emphasized the significant impact of Sainik Schools in shaping disciplined and patriotic youth for nation-building. He attended the Sainwinians’ Annual Meet at Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi, where alumni from Sainik School Rewa, including notable figures like General Upendra Dwivedi and Admiral Devendra Kumar Joshi, were present.
Sainik Schools, according to the Governor, have been instrumental in fostering disciplined and service-oriented individuals committed to the nation’s welfare. These institutions focus on instilling character, discipline, leadership, academic excellence, and a sense of national pride, nurturing responsible citizens dedicated to serving the country.
Lt Gen Parnaik (Retd) highlighted that Sainik Schools have consistently produced professionals who have significantly contributed to India’s progress and security. He praised the courage and dedication exhibited by the Armed Forces during operations like ‘Operation Sindoor,’ reflecting the ethos of commitment and patriotism instilled by such schools.
Governor Parnaik stressed the ongoing relevance of Sainik Schools in cultivating disciplined leadership, national unity, and a capable generation essential for India’s future advancement. Sainik School Rewa, with its rich history since 1962, holds a special position in India’s educational and military landscape, producing distinguished alumni excelling in various fields.
