Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed concerns about heightened security measures and a buildup of ambulances at Jantar Mantar, the focal point of students’ protest against NEET paper leaks. Kejriwal criticized the government’s intentions behind this escalation, citing an urgent advisory from the New Delhi Traders Association (NDTA).

The NDTA advisory instructed all shops and offices in Connaught Place to close by 6.30 p.m., emphasizing strict compliance to address the critical situation. Kejriwal raised questions about the sudden closure of businesses and speculated whether the government was planning an action against the protesting students at Jantar Mantar.

Kejriwal and his party, AAP, have been vocal about exam irregularities and the government’s alleged inaction in holding anyone accountable. He extended support to the students, commending their resilience in the face of what he described as a harsh crackdown. The AAP leader also warned the Modi government against any aggressive moves towards the demonstrators at Jantar Mantar.
