Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, also the AAP national convenor, has cautioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi against taking any harsh actions towards students peacefully protesting at Jantar Mantar. Kejriwal, in a social media post on platform X with a video message, expressed worry about the heavy security presence and restricted internet access in central Delhi. He urged Modi not to initiate any crackdown on the peaceful demonstrators.

Kejriwal, through a video message, highlighted the increased security measures around Jantar Mantar, as informed by journalists and others. He pointed out the tightened internet restrictions and the significant presence of police and paramilitary forces, raising concerns of a potential crackdown. Kejriwal directly addressed Modi, warning against forcefully suppressing the student movement, emphasizing that the public support for the protests has only grown stronger.

The AAP leader stressed that any attempt to crush the peaceful protest would have serious consequences for the government. He mentioned that the protesting youth are undeterred and that any suppression efforts only strengthen their resolve. Kejriwal concluded his message with a strong plea to Modi to avoid any aggressive actions towards the young demonstrators, highlighting the potential repercussions of stifling democratic rights.
