Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has firmly supported Rajasthan Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra amidst the escalating political clash with Cabinet Minister Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena. Gehlot dismissed Kirodi’s accusations as unfounded and politically driven, emphasizing that none of the minister’s previous claims have ever been substantiated. He criticized Kirodi for resorting to baseless allegations without concrete evidence, especially in an attempt to deflect attention from his own controversies.

Gehlot highlighted that during the BJP’s tenure, Kirodi’s allegations lacked credibility and suggested that the minister is now resorting to diversion tactics. Asserting his solidarity with Dotasra, Gehlot condemned the unwarranted targeting of the Congress leader by Kirodi, labeling the accusations as entirely fabricated and desperate. He stressed the importance of factual evidence in political accusations, stating that false claims should have no place in the political arena.

Addressing reporters in Jodhpur, Gehlot underscored the need for allegations to be grounded in truth rather than mere rhetoric. He defended Dotasra’s integrity within the party, emphasizing the significance of respecting the party president’s position. Gehlot also criticized Kirodi for baseless attacks and questioned the credibility of the recent allegations concerning the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).

Additionally, former minister and senior Congress leader Ramlal Jat voiced support for Dotasra, accusing Kirodi of engaging in diversionary politics. Jat condemned Kirodi’s groundless accusations against Dotasra, highlighting the public’s awareness of such deceitful tactics. Party leaders noted the significance of Gehlot’s robust defense of Dotasra, signaling a shift in political dynamics within the Congress amid the ongoing confrontation with Kirodi.
